Rich earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Newark where he served as Notes Editor of the Rutgers Law Review. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence M. Lawson, Assignment Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Monmouth County (Retired).
During his clerkship, Rich was exposed to a variety of litigation matters including land use, actions in lieu of prerogative writs, and applications seeking temporary and preliminary restraints.
Rich focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and guardianship matters. He is also experienced in handling workers’ compensation matters. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Monmouth County Bar Association.
In the community, Rich is active on the board of the EMACC Educational Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising scholarship funds for non-traditional students. He also serves as a board member and secretary to Family and Children’s Services in Long Branch, Monmouth County’s oldest private nonprofit social service agency.
Rich lives in West Long Branch with his wife, son and dog.
